Our history

HOSTPLUS was established by the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) and United Voice (formerly the LHMU) in 1987.

Having been the superannuation fund for the hospitality, tourism, recreation and sport industries for 21 years, it should come as no surprise that we know service.

As a profit-for-members fund, HOSTPLUS charges competitive fees, doesn’t pay commissions to financial advisors and all profits are re-invested for the benefit of our members.

Today, HOSTPLUS has over 984,000 members, more than 75,000 employers, close to $9 billion in funds under management and is one of Australia’s largest super funds.

And HOSTPLUS Executive is the exclusive and customised superannuation choice for executives who deserve – and demand – more.
