HOSTPLUS ‘Stay informed’ Terms & Conditions

1. By entering the prize draw, you will be deemed to have read and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
2. Information on how to enter this competition, collection of personal information, and prizes, form part of these conditions of entry.
3. The promotion is known as the HOSTPLUS Stay informed Promotion, which will be promoted by HOSTPLUS via the following communication channels:

6. The promoter is HOSTPLUS Pty Limited ABN 79 008 634 704 AFSL No. 244392, RSEL No. L0000093, RSE No. R1000054 Level 9, 114 William Street Melbourne Victoria 3000, ("Promoter" or "HOSTPLUS").
7. To be eligible for any prize you must be both a member of HOSTPLUS Superannuation Fund, and an Australian resident, at the date of the draw. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, and companies associated with this promotion, including any prize producers, are ineligible to enter.
8. Promotion commences at 9.00am (AEST) on 1 March 2012 and closes at 5.00pm (AEST) on 11 May 2012 ("Promotion Period").
9. 50 Winners will receive a 12 month subscription to a magazine of their choice valued at an average of $65 each (total RRP $3,250) from a selection of ACP publications as per below:

10. To enter, you must login to your HOSTPLUS online account via ‘SuperSite’ and supply, or update, your email address within the competition promotion period. You will receive only one entry into this competition regardless of how many times an email address is changed during this period.
11. The promotion is a game of chance and will be drawn by random selection.
12. The draw will take place at the registered office of the promoter, Level 9, 114 William Street, Melbourne, on Monday 25 May 2012 at 11.00am (AEST).
13. The Promoter will contact each selected winner via email correspondence.
14. Winners will have 90 days from the date and time stipulated in clause 10 to contact the promoter and confirm acceptance of their prize.
15. Any unclaimed prizes will be distributed at the Promoters discretion.
16. The judge’s decision on each draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
17. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or kind and must be taken as offered.
18. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any entry or prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
19. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
20. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
21. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
22. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
23. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and their respective officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion or the promotion of this promotion.
24. The Promoter shall not be liable for communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
25. NSW Permit Number LTPM/11/00454. No permits are required in SA, ACT, VIC, WA, QLD, NT and TAS to conduct the HOSTPLUS Stay Informed Promotion.
