At last count, there were around 5.8 million lost super accounts worth $18.8 billion. This represents roughly one in five of all superannuation accounts, and an average of one lost account for every two Australian workers.

Finding your lost super is easy
There are a few easy, free ways to track down your money.
- Do a search at unclaimedsuper.com.au by entering your full name and date of birth.
- Head to ato.gov.au/super to do a superseeker search.
- If you’ve got your Tax File Number handy, you can also contact the ATO Lost Members Register on 13 10 20.
Get your lost super back
Once you’ve found your super, complete the Request to transfer your entire balance form found in the Rollover brochure to transfer it to your HOSTPLUS Executive account, so you don’t lose track of it again.
