Super Choice eligibility

You are eligible if:

  • you're paid under a Federal award, no award or a registered agreement, or
  • superannuation contributions are being made to satisfy a State award (also known as a 'notional agreement preserving State awards' or NAPSA), and you are employed by a constitutional corporation (or an unincorporated employer in Victoria or the Territories).

You are not eligible if:

  • superannuation contributions are being made to satisfy a State award, and you are not employed by a constitutional corporation
  • superannuation contributions are being made to satisfy an Australian workplace agreement (AWA), certified or collective agreement, or
  • superannuation contributions are being made to satisfy an industrial agreement registered by State award (Preserved State Agreement).

If you are unsure at all about what award or agreement you are covered by, or whether your superannuation contributions are being made to a super fund to satisfy an award or agreement, ask your employer, visit Workplace Authority or contact your relevant industry body.
